Individual Therapy

A woman sitting in therapy. She has he hands up like she is saying something important. A blurred hand is writing something on a notepad. Individual therapy is a good fit for people seeking a supportive environment to improve their relationship with a type of technology like video games, social media, or online pornography.

With your input, therapists will assess for things that might be contributing to your concerns with tech. This might include aspects of your personality, cycles of use, other mental health issues, relationship quality, culture, and overall life satisfaction. Therapists will also provide tailored intervention options that relate to your unique concerns and preferred technology.

$150 for 50 minutes

*Therapy services are currently only available for Pennsylvania residents.

*Note: The Center for Technology Wellness supports caregivers who are attempting to establish developmentally appropriate expectations with their children. We do not, however, provide sole individual treatment to children to “fix them.” In our experience, a decrease in a child’s concerning behaviors is often the result of non-judgmental collaboration with caregivers and well-timed joint sessions with their children. Because of this, we ask caregivers to be involved in the treatment of their children when the presenting concern is relational (e.g., “My child doesn’t listen to me when I tell them to stop using their phone”).
